2012-2013
Pickens elementary (Tuesday, january 22nd 2013)
The Clemson Lady Tigers visited the students, faculty and staff at Pickens Elementary on Tuesday. The team invited everyone at Pickens to come to the game against Duke on Thursday 01/24/13 and also taught the students what it means to be a T.I.G.E.R.! There was a great turnout from the Pickens crew at the game and the Pickens choir even sang the national anthem at the game. Click on the picture to the left for a video of the visit...
orchard park elementary ( friday, january 4th 2013)
During their visit, the Lady Tigers made a point to invite the students to come out to watch some basketball, but they were also there to stress how important education, family, and having respect for others is. The Lady Tigers intend to have a positive impact in the lives of the children in the local community by educating them on the tools that are necessary for them to be successful throughout their lives.
TIGERTOWN WODERLAND
The Clemson men's and women's basketball programs hosted Tiger Wonderland, an event designed to give underprivileged children from the community a proper Christmas experience, on Thursday, December 13 at Littlejohn Coliseum. The kids joined the Clemson basketball players and staff for Christmas activities, dinner, and opening presents with Santa!

The Lady Tigers visit CLEMSON ELEMENTARY
Aneesah Daniels, Chancie Dunn, Kelly Gramlich, Nyilah Jamison-Myers, Jonquel Jones and Charmaine Tay visited Clemson Elementary School to read to the 2nd graders. Each class picked out a couple of their favorite books for the players to read. After the reading session the players talked about building character through the T.I.G.E.R. Program. T – Teamwork, I – Integrity, G – Gratitude, E – Education, R – Respect
The children had lots of questions for the players. It was a fun morning for all. At the end of our visit, the entire 2nd Grade took us outside on the playground and perform the Clemson Tigers Cadence…1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-R-S, FIGHT TIGERS, FIGHT TIGERS, FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

tiger cub birthday party!
Tiger Cub Birthday Party!!! Our team help celebrate the Tiger Cub celebrate by setting up a few basketball stations in Jervey Gym. The kids in attendance got to work on their ball handling skills, their passing and their shot. They even participated in some relay races with the team.
Varennes academy
Chancie Dunn, Kelly Gramlich, and Charmaine Tay performed an Assembly Program on “Be a T.I.G.E. R. Program” at Varennes Academy in Anderson, SC. Over 300 kids were in attendance and our players performed skits on building character for each letter in TIGER. It was lots of fun and a great time was had by all!

We teamed with the Men's basketball team and Clemson Community Care to provide 30 area children with a dinner, visit with Santa, and Christmas gifts. After School Care @ Clemson Elementary
We have volunteered at the after school program at Clemson Elementary three times this spring (3/30, 4/13, and 4/20). We have helped kids with their homework, joined in playing games, and helped clean the school over our time there.
our Daily Rest
The entire team and staff collected unused toiletries from their hotel stays while travelling to away games. In total, we collected over 200 items, weighing in at 16.5 lbs, and donated them to Our Daily Rest, a homeless shelter in Seneca, SC.

Our Daily Bread
Our Daily Bread is a local Soup Kitchen in Seneca, SC that feeds the less fortunate. We visited twice in January to help prepare, serve, and clean up. In our two visits we served 80 people on 1/9/12 and 85 people on 1/16/12.
Be a Tiger Program
We visited area elementary schools to teach kids about the importance of Teamwork, Integrity, Gratitude, Education, and Respect while participating in fun skits. Here is a list of the schools we visited this year:
