Clemson Lady Tiger Basketball

7:50 am: Woke up to my favorite song as of right now Refill by Elle Varner to get ready for my
day!

8:15 am: I left my house to head to breakfast check and enjoy a wonderful breakfast to give me
energy for the day!

9:30 am to 10:45 am: I started my first class of the day in which we just sat and watched our
classmates present projects the whole class. (Luckily I didn’t have to present this day)

11:00 am to 12:00 pm: I met with my trip group that I traveled with for the year and talked about
culinary tourism but my trip leader was nice and let us out 30 minutes early. I was extremely
happy!

12:00 pm to 1:00 pm: I sat through a lecture that was held by Jack Hopkins who talked about
starting your own business in which I enjoyed because I am in the mix of trying to start my own
business so the information was very helpful.

2:00 pm to 3:00 pm: At this time I had the BEST experience of my life at the campus beach. I
went KAYAKING for the first time ever for my class and I really enjoyed myself.

3:15 pm to 4:30 pm: I had to lift weights but in better terms TRAIN with the best strength
and conditioning coach ever. I must say my TRAINING is starting to pay off because I have
something to show for it.

4:30 pm to 11:00 pm: I was pretty drained from the day so I just relaxed and watch movies with
some of my teammates with socializing in between showings of different movies for the rest of
the day/night.

11:30 pm: I was out for the count, wore out tired so it was time for me to count sheep and get my
rest for another prosperous day!

Day Highlights:
Going Kayaking I must say was the best part of day, like that was the best experience I have
had in a long time. If it wasn’t for the class that I am in, I don’t think that I would ever had
the experience but I am thankful that I was allowed to actually enjoy the experience. Another
highlight was training with my strength and conditioning coach because I love to TRAIN
especially when you know it is making you better and you see a difference in your body and your
abilities. I like being rewarded for doing things and seeing the change in my body is an enough
of an award to me!

_5:30 am: Woke up to get ready for an extreme 6AM workout!

6:00 am: Worked out extremely hard to get better and better myself for the next season!

7:00 am: Left my house to head to Clemson Elementary school to work the spring break Clemson Day Camp with kids around the Clemson area!

7:30 am -12:45 pm: Had the best experience of my life working at the Clemson Day Camp with the many different kids that were there, not only was I working there but my coworkers/classmates and I implemented the program for the kids and it was very successful.

1:00 pm: I went and got lunch at the Canteen in the Union with a couple of friends and sat in the Union lobby and sat there and talked until it was time for me to go play pick up with my team.

2:30 pm: My teammates and I played pick up for a good hour working hard to get better. We played a lot of games to 7 everything counted as ones for a complete hour.

4:00 pm: Went back to the Union to hang out with my friends some more and chat!

5:30 pm: Went to ingles to buy dinner (rice amd chicken) for the night. Yummy!

6:00 pm-8:00 pm: Took a nap, to recover from my long day before I cooked!

8:30 pm: Cooked my easy meal chicken and rice and yes your girl can throw down in the kitchen I learned from the best, my grandma.

9:30 pm: Watched the NCAA National Championship game while I ate my great dinner and of course I was rooting for Kentucky. Go WILDCATS! GO BLUE!

12:00 am: Went back to sleep because the day had tired me out and I was shot!

Day highlights:
Working with the kids at the Clemson Day Camp was the best part of my day, I love kids so much and they were so excited to have students from Clemson there at the camp working. Another highlight was hanging out with my friends, laughing, talking, and clowning about everything because I'm a social butterfly and I love hanging out and just being happy. Finally, watching the NCAA National Championship was great because of course I love basketball and just as playing it, it's
exciting to watch!

_Hi, my name is Chancie Dunn, also known as “DuceTre” from Decatur, Georgia. I am a sophomore guard
for the Lady Tigers Women's Basketball Team.

As I can remember the process getting to Clemson was amazing, from getting to know the coaches, to coming on my visit to Clemson and not only meeting my coaches and meeting my teammates but also being able to see the beautiful campus here at Clemson. All of that was nice, I felt a part of a family and that was my main reason for choosing to become a Lady Tiger. Although the coaches that are here now were not the coaches that recruited me, I am still glad that I chose to stay here at Clemson and take advantage of the opportunity that I have and enjoy this wonderful family chemistry.

My years here have been amazing despite the outcomes of my seasons because not only am I here for basketball, I am also here for education to receive a degree and also to become successful as a person. The resources here at Clemson are amazing and I wouldn’t pass up this opportunity for anything. This year has been such a learning experience that I do not know where to start.

Check back as I let you in on my many experiences playing with the Clemson Lady Tigers and in the
ACC!!!!
